Food intake guideline for successful weight loss

We can divide all foods into two groups: the group that leads to waste formation, and another group of foods that leads to waste cleaning. The waste forming foods are all kinds of refined, processed, hydrogenated, full of dyestuff and pesticides, pasteurized, and chemically treated foods. Also, in this category we have canned meat, all kinds of fatty meats (pork, beef, chicken, lamb, etc.), dairy products (especially fatty), and all sugary and artificially sweetened products. To be more specific, among waste forming foods we can find the following: chocolate, ice cream, candy, jellies, cookies, cakes, pies, doughnuts, white sugar, all sodas and soft drinks, all sweetened fruit or vegetable drinks, sweetened cereals, salty foods, junk food, reheated food, fried foods, sausages, hot dogs, packaged meats, alcoholic beverages, and gravies.

The second group of food (waste cleaning food) consists of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, bran, fresh squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, and seafood (certain types).

An overabundance of cooked food can over-stimulate our body’s glandular secretions. As a result the glands become exhausted, the balance and harmony of the body is disturbed, and the person starts to store fat and gain weight.

When a person doesn’t care about what he eats, he will very possibly gain excess fat. Usually, overweight people do not care about what they are going to eat because they eat everything. People who are managing obesity and who are in shape think about what they are going to eat and how much.

With two small main meals and several snacks like fruits and vegetables the body tends to produce a smaller amount of insulin, which helps the body burn rather than store the fats.
Different research shows us that all calories are not created equal. Fat calories, for example, do not burn as efficiently as carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are most effective in raising the metabolic rate. This means that vegetables, fruits, and starches actually increase the calorie-burning potential of the body and, by contrast, fatty foods slow down the metabolism. In the case of fatty food intake the body does not generate the same energy to burn these foods and as result the fats coming with food just turn to fat in the body more rapidly. In other words, because they do not increase the metabolic rate enough to offset the added calories, fats have a positive effect: they assist you to gain weight.

Your recommended caloric intake should be 20 to 30 percent from fat, 50 to 60 percent from carbohydrates, and the remaining from proteins. Try to keep your daily fat intake to less than 25%.

Acid forming food is very bad because it contributes to all kind of health disorders, and excess weight is not an exception. Most of us eat 80% acid foods and 20% alkaline foods and just the opposite ratio is the one that will guide you to disease-free vibrant health – for life! Your cells stay younger and healthier when their wastes are washed away. When you increase your pH level, your cells return to a more youthful level of functioning. Actually, when you reverse the acid to alkaline (the way nature intended), it helps oxygenate, detoxify and energize your all body’s cells.

When your body’s pH is in the acid range, (below 7.0) it retains water to dilute the acidity and stores fat in the arteries as protection from the acid blood. Acid storage makes the body craves salt and sugar. With too much acid in the body, blood sugar balance is impaired and energy greatly diminishes. You feel run down because your cells are run down so you eat more protein and starches and the vicious cycle never ends.

When your body is suffering from acid over­load, it will hold on to fat no matter how much exercise you do, what kind of supplements you take or how strict is your diet. But, here’s the good news; as you shifts your body to a healthier alkaline pH and start taking proper supplements (all natural supplements are alkaline-forming), your body will naturally and safely release fat and water weight in the shortest possible time and keep it off!

When you flush acids, you also minimize the over-acidity that’s been keeping your pounds on or keeping you sick. So, consume 80% alkaline-forming and 20% acid-forming food on daily bases.
